2023 State of the Community – Why Dublin
At the March 9 event, City Council and City Manager O’Callaghan highlighted Dublin’s fiscal strength, innovative initiatives and community collaboration.
The evening centered around the City’s vision to be the most sustainable, most connected and most resilient global city of choice. O’Callaghan announced several new initiatives in support of that vision, including programs to increase residential recycling, a comprehensive update to Dublin’s Community Plan, and an initiative to provide10-gig broadband capability to all residences.
The event also featured a panel discussion with special guests Dr. John Marschhausen, Dublin City Schools superintendent; Eric Richter, Washington Township administrator; and Kenny McDonald, president and CEO of the Columbus Partnership, who discussed regional partnerships and collaborative economic development strategies.
