From a corporate headquarters relocation to major expansions, three recent investments reveal what’s attracting companies to Dublin, Ohio — and giving them reason to grow here.
The best business locations do more than check boxes on a site-selection list. They create conditions for companies to compete globally, attract talent and keep growing for decades.
That is what is happening in Dublin, Ohio.
Recent investments from Northwest Bank, InnoSource and John W. Danforth Company tell three different growth stories: a corporate headquarters choosing Dublin, an established employer investing in its next chapter and a growing company expanding its workforce and footprint.
Together, they point to something bigger.
Dublin is a place where businesses thrive because it is a place where people want to be.
A Headquarters Move Makes a Statement
Northwest Bank’s decision to relocate its corporate headquarters to Dublin is the latest example.
The publicly traded financial institution will become the sole office tenant at Bridge North, occupying all 75,000 square feet of Class A office space within the new mixed-use development in Dublin’s Bridge Street District. The company plans to open its headquarters in 2029 with space to grow to 300 employees by 2034.
That decision puts Northwest Bank in the middle of one of Dublin’s most dynamic districts, where offices sit alongside restaurants, retail, recreation, housing and gathering spaces.
For a company competing for talent, that matters.
“Dublin’s collaborative approach to supporting businesses makes it an ideal location for Northwest Bank’s future headquarters,” Northwest Bank President and CEO Louis J. Torchio said. “This move supports our long-term growth strategy, strengthens our ability to attract top talent, and positions us for continued success.”
It is also the type of investment Dublin has intentionally worked to create.
As City Manager Megan O’Callaghan noted in announcing the project, this project and many before reflect years of partnership with developers, businesses, and regional partners on infrastructure investment that create places where businesses and people thrive.
Talent Wants More Than a Workplace
The competition for business investment is increasingly connected to the competition for people.
Employees want more from the place they work than an office address. They want restaurants for lunch and happy hour. Places to walk, bike and recharge. Convenient transportation. Events, entertainment and neighborhoods that give them reasons to stay after 5 p.m.
Dublin delivers that experience.
More than 160 miles of shared-use paths, vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants and retail, world-class events, connected transportation options and workforce wellness resources are part of a business environment designed to support employees on and off the clock.
That creates an advantage for employers recruiting in a competitive market: talent can build a career here without sacrificing quality of life.
And when people want to be somewhere, businesses notice.
Companies Come Here. They Also Stay Here.
InnoSource already knows what it means to grow in Dublin.
The workforce solutions, human resources and outsourcing company is headquartered here and plans to increase its headcount by 30%, bringing its anticipated Dublin employment to more than 100 positions by the end of 2031.
“Dublin has been an important part of InnoSource’s success, and we’re excited to continue building our future here,” CEO Chad Delligatti said.
John W. Danforth Company is building its future here, too.
The mechanical services provider currently operates on Shier Rings Road and plans to expand into a new Dublin facility, nearly doubling its local workforce in the process.
Those decisions are just as important as attracting a new headquarters.
They show that Dublin is not simply a landing place. It is a place companies can continue to scale.
“These investments demonstrate how Dublin’s business environment supports companies at every stage of their journey,” said Jeremiah Gracia, the City’s Director of Economic Development. “We want to be the place companies choose for their next headquarters, but just as importantly, the place where existing businesses have the talent, amenities, infrastructure and support they need to keep growing. When companies thrive in Dublin, they become our strongest advocates for why others should be here, too.”
An Environment Built for Growth
Amenities are part of the equation, but they are not the whole equation.
Dublin combines quality of life with the fundamentals companies and site selectors need: a talented regional workforce, direct highway access, future-ready infrastructure, development opportunities and a responsive Economic Development team.
Dublin’s municipally owned Dublink fiber network provides access to enterprise-grade connectivity, while the City’s business-forward approach is designed to simplify permitting, remove barriers and give companies a single point of contact as projects move forward.
The philosophy is simple: when a business is ready to make an investment, Dublin is ready to invest with them.
Northwest Bank found a place for its next headquarters here.
InnoSource found a place to keep building.
John W. Danforth Company found room to grow.
Different companies. Different industries. Different needs.
One shared conclusion.
Dublin is where people want to work and where companies want to invest.
