Dublin City Council has approved an economic development agreement with NWLFD, Inc., dba Benefit Bank Distributors, Inc., an independent marketing organization offering annuities and life insurance through banks and broker deals. Their clients include Huntington Bank, Key Bank, Fifth Third Bank and Wells Fargo. With its headquarters located in Austin, Texas, Benefit Bank Distributors is leasing a facility in the City of Dublin to expand its operations in Ohio.
As part of the agreement, the City of Dublin will provide a performance withholding incentive to Benefit Bank Distributors, valued at up to $37,000 over the term of the agreement. The incentive is structured as a three-year, 15% performance incentive on withholdings collected on its employees for calendar years 2026 through 2028. This performance incentive is contingent upon Benefit Bank Distributors leasing property within the City of Dublin corporation limits by Jan. 1, 2026, and receiving an occupancy permit and occupying the facility by May 1, 2026.
Benefit Bank Distributors plans to create 56 employee positions within Dublin by Dec. 31, 2028. Estimated payroll withholdings from these roles are estimated to be $200,000 over the three-year performance period.
“We’re proud to welcome Benefit Bank Distributors to our community and excited about the quality jobs and investment they’re bringing to Dublin,” says Economic Development Administrator Abby Falcone. “The City of Dublin continues to attract diverse companies like Benefit Bank Distributors, reinforcing its role as a leading hub for financial services and innovation in Ohio.”
Council approved the EDA after a second reading at the Aug. 25, 2025, meeting.
