Business and community leaders joined the City of Dublin Oct. 14 for the 2025 Economic Development Strategy and Envision Dublin Community Plan Update at The Exchange at Bridge Park. Their engagement in our community and its future is vital to shaping Dublin’s continued success as we plan for long-term, sustainable growth.
The gathering brought together innovators, employers and stakeholders for an essential conversation about Dublin’s strategic priorities. City Manager Megan O’Callaghan, Economic Development Director Jeremiah Gracia and Community Planning & Development Director Jenny Rauch shared progress on City Council goals, new partnerships and updates highlighting how the Economic Development Strategy and Envision Dublin Community Plan work together to guide intentional, sustainable growth.
By supporting existing businesses, attracting new investment and enhancing quality of life for employees and residents, the event underscored the City of Dublin’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community partnership. As we move through 2026, here are the City’s achievements worth celebrating and the priorities ahead.
2025: A Year of Recognition and Re-Investment
Dublin’s Metro Center Revitalization Plan earned the Specialized Plan Award from the Ohio Chapter of the American Planning Association in September 2025. The plan reimagines Dublin’s first office park as a dynamic, mixed-use district that blends residential, commercial, cultural and recreational uses while enhancing mobility, open space and sustainability.
“The City of Dublin is taking its next bold step in reimagining Metro Center into a thriving, modern district that supports business growth, sustainability and community connectivity,” says O’Callaghan. “This transformation will revitalize one of Dublin’s legacy office parks, ensuring it remains a competitive hub for innovation, talent and investment.”
Dublin’s commitment to becoming the most connected city in the United States made significant strides in 2025. The City announced the Fiber to every home initiative to deliver a cutting-edge multi-gig fiber network to more than 15,000 single-home addresses by year’s end. This access to fast, reliable broadband connectivity, coupled with Dublink’s 100 Gig fiber optic network for businesses, positions Dublin as a truly connected city for everyone.
Dublin continued to attract diverse companies throughout 2025. City Council approved an economic development agreement with Benefit Bank Distributors, which plans to create 56 employee positions within Dublin by December 2028. Nine Dublin-based companies earned spots on Columbus Business First’s 2025 Fast50 List, recognizing the fastest-growing private companies in the Columbus region.
Looking Ahead: 2026 Priorities
As we look to 2026, Dublin’s strategic focus centers on three related priorities that will shape our community’s future.
First, Bridge North, a dynamic mixed-use project, was approved by City Council in late 2025. The development includes 75,000 square feet of Class A office space, 280 multi-family units, retail space, structured parking and a 150-key Tempo by Hilton hotel along Riverside Drive.
“The addition of 75,000 square feet of new office space in Bridge North will give businesses more opportunities to grow in or (re)locate in Dublin while keeping their teams connected to world-class amenities,” says Gracia.
Second, the West Innovation District remains a key differentiator for Dublin in today’s technology-driven economy. In January 2026, City Council adopted the goal to “Catalyze Economic Development in the West Innovation District.” The 2,250-acre district is targeted for office, research and development and advanced manufacturing uses.
With freeway visibility, proximity to Ohio University’s Dublin Campus, and the 33 Smart Mobility Corridor, the district provides an ideal setting for modern enterprise campuses. The City’s acquisition of 349 additional acres within the District in 2026 advances multiple strategic plans. As Planning NEXT finalizes the West Innovation District Integrated Implementation Strategy, 2026 will bring continued momentum in establishing the district’s distinct identity and advance infrastructure investment to unlock the District’s full economic and innovation potential.
Third, Metro Center Revitalization will accelerate in 2026, building on the award-winning plan adopted by City Council in December 2024. The transformation of this 210-acre district into a vibrant, walkable mixed-use neighborhood will create modern office and commercial spaces connected to 100 Gig fiber and other state-of-the-art amenities for today’s workforce.
“Metro Center’s location and history make it an ideal place to demonstrate how innovation and collaboration can shape the future of suburban centers and make them an integral, welcoming part of the community,” says Rauch.
Partnership in Action
Dublin’s success is the result of deliberate planning, strategic investment and partnership with our business community. The Gratitude on the Go initiative was launched in October 2025 as the first stop along a roadshow bringing Team Dublin representatives to businesses throughout the community. We will host the next Gratitude on the Go event 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 8 in Metro Center.
We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and grateful to the business leaders and stakeholders who help shape our community’s future. To learn more about development opportunities in Dublin, visit ThriveInDublinOhio.com.
