Drivers and passengers traversing through Dublin will be safer thanks to the brilliant minds behind some new technology.
Dublin is turning problems of the past into real-time traffic solutions, from the city’s first connected roundabout at Riverside Drive and S.R. 161 to curbside tech that’s helping local businesses.
“We’re collecting data like near-miss events and overall operations at the roundabout,” said Jean-Ellen Willis, Director of Transportation & Mobility for the City of Dublin.
“The goal is to use that information to create a smoother flow through the roundabout, reducing conflicts and understanding how everything operates.”
