Cenovus Energy, a Canadian energy leader, has planted its flag in Dublin, hailing the city as its U.S. headquarters. The result? New jobs and commitments to the Emerald City.
The office will be located at the northwest corner of Dale Drive and Bridge Park Avenue at 4455 Bridge Park Avenue and occupy more than 50,000 square feet of Class A office space within the 100,000-square-foot mixed-use building.
Through this expansion, Cenovus Energy plans to bring an additional 120 job opportunities to downtown Dublin. Construction is expected to be completed by the fall of 2027.
The company operates refineries in Lima and Toledo, Ohio, as well as Superior, Wisconsin, with two additional joint venture refineries alongside Phillips 66. For those curious about the name, Cenovus means “new century”.
Dublin came out on top over competing locations in Illinois and Texas. Residents can find the regional headquarters located at 5550 Blazer Parkway, on the city’s southwest side.
“Ohio is the heart of our operations in the U.S.,” Juli LeClair, Manager of U.S. Regional Communications for Cenovus, said. “Dublin is such a fantastic community to be a part of. There are so many great amenities. It was attractive from an employee standpoint.”
