Dublin City Council has approved an economic development agreement with Whalen CPAs, a full-service CPA firm offering tax, accounting, audit and assurance, business valuation, and a variety of business consulting services. Whalen CPAs plans to relocate its headquarters to Dublin in summer 2025.
The City of Dublin has proposed an Economic Development Agreement to Whalen CPAs, which includes a one-time grant of $20,000. To qualify for this incentive, Whalen CPAs must sign a lease agreement for a minimum of five years and obtain proof of occupancy by Aug. 1, 2025. Whalen will move 39 employees to their new Dublin office and will expand employee headcount to 47 by Dec. 31, 2031.
“Whalen’s decision to invest in Dublin reflects the city’s strong business-friendly environment and commitment to fostering economic growth,” says Economic Development Administrator Luke Fleming. “We welcome them to our corporate community and are confident that their values and business excellence will contribute to Dublin’s reputation as an exceptional place to live and work.”
Council approved the EDA after a second reading at its meeting April 7, 2025.
