The City of Dublin is proud of our biggest asset, the companies and employees who call our community home. Each March, the City takes time to thank our business community and corporate workforce.

Led by our Economic Development Team, the City has celebrated Business Appreciation Day every year for more than a decade. Historically, this event is held in-person at various office buildings throughout the City, featuring Irish bands, swag give-aways and gift card raffles.

As with most events, Business Appreciation Day looks a little different this year. Instead of in-person events, the City is hosting an interactive video exchange. Businesses and employees are asked to submit a short Why Dublin video telling us what you love about doing business in Dublin. In exchange, participants will be entered to win one of 100 gift cards to local Dublin restaurants and small businesses. Videos will also be featured on the City’s digital platforms and shared with the community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll on businesses large and small, but it has revealed the resilience of the Dublin workforce. Your innovation, ingenuity, perseverance sense of community and spirit of togetherness have been truly inspiring. We are all in this together and we know there are brighter days ahead in Dublin.

Businesses and employees are asked to submit a short Why Dublin video telling us what you love about doing business in Dublin.

*By sharing and submitting your #WhyDublin story,  you agree to allow the City of Dublin to use your video in the advancement of workforce and social media initiatives. Videos will be posted on this website on March 13, 2021.
