In an interview with theCube at the Juniper Nxtwork 2016 Summit in Santa Clara, CA, The City of Dublin’s CIO Doug McCollough said the impact of digital transformation results in a competitive advantage for citizens. “There is an expectation for the public sector to innovate as fast as the private sector in providing quality of place for residents and quality of space for businesses,” said McCollough.
McCollough is focused on making Dublin a digital hub, an attractive place for other technology companies to locate and digital security. He also discussed Dublin’s Dublink fiber network and the 100 gig project that is an economic development incentive to attract businesses into “legacy office parks.”
