City of Dublin launches new website for businesses and workforce

  • May 1, 2016

Dublin, OH – Dublin is home to more than 3,000 business, 43,000+ residents and 70,000+ daily workforce. What makes the City of Dublin attractive to Fortune 100 companies, corporate headquarters, international businesses, entrepreneurs and their employees?

The benefits can be found at www.econdev.dublinohiousa.gov — a new website featuring Dublin as a great place to grow a business, a career and a life.

“We began re-visioning our Economic Development website a couple of years ago,” said Director of Economic Development Colleen Gilger. “Through research and focus groups, our audiences broadened from just business decision makers and site selectors to Human Resource professionals, existing and future business owners, CEOs and the 70,000 people who work in Dublin.” Gilger noted that 75% of the 70,000 do not live in Dublin so they may not be aware of all the amenities the City has to offer.

A recent Community Attitudes Survey indicated 98% of Dublin residents rated Dublin as an excellent or good place to live with 94% rating Dublin as an excellent or good place to work.

Gilger said quality of place is a key factor in choosing to relocate or expand a business. That includes great schools, educated work force, amenities like parks, restaurants and housing. Whether it’s finding recreation opportunities, City events, volunteer opportunities, corporate wellness or business relocation incentives, this information and more can be found on the new Economic Development website.
