Founded 12 years ago by Dublin resident Michael Cao, IC3D manufactures and recycles 3D printing materials, designs and manufactures large-format industrial 3D printers, and operates a 3D printing service with more than 50 3D printers.
“Pretty much all manufacturing industries utilize 3D printing, including automotive, medical, aerospace, and general consumer products,” Cao said. ”3D printing started out as just a prototyping method but has matured to where it’s being used for tooling, jigs and fixtures, and even volume production.”
