A few months before Updox LLC moved to Dublin’s booming Bridge Park, manager Wendy Edgar moved into an apartment in the development.
Her commute is now one block. Edgar, the health IT company’s director of customer success, is among a handful of employees to move within walking distance as the development quickly leases up.
“It’s been amazing,” Edgar said. “Actually, living here gives me a better work-life balance.”
Updox, which makes secure communications and workflow software for physician practices, moved to Crawford Hoying Ltd.’s mixed-use development in May. Across the Scioto River, work continues on a portion of Bridge Park being built over the site of Updox’s first downtown Dublin HQ, a former doctor’s office where it had 18 employees five years ago.
