Dublin has spent years building its tech economy. Companies like Quest Software are helping make it happen.
Quest Software is a global technology company focused on data management, cybersecurity, and platform modernization. And here’s a number that will raise your eyebrows:
More than 45,000 organizations worldwide, including more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies, rely on Quest’s products and solutions.
The company has spent decades helping organizations manage data, secure identities, and modernize technology. Today, it’s focused on giving customers the foundation they need to succeed in the AI era.
“What connects everything is trust,” said Brian Gayler, Site Lead for Quest’s Dublin office. “Trusted data and trusted identity go hand-in-hand. If identities are compromised, then data can’t be trusted. If data isn’t trusted, then AI initiatives fail – no matter how advanced the models are.”
The company recently announced two new platforms, the Quest Trusted Data Management Platform and the Quest Security Management Platform.
These platforms help organizations unify data and identity management while building the foundation for AI-driven growth.
The Dublin office serves as Quest’s North American hub for its Renewals organization, which supports thousands of existing customers worldwide. The location also brings together employees from Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
So, why Dublin?
According to Gayler, the city’s combination of talent, infrastructure, and business climate made it a natural fit.
“Dublin offers a strong combination of business-friendly infrastructure, a highly educated workforce, and access to a growing technology ecosystem in Central Ohio,” he said.
Quest has also undergone significant change in recent years. The company has added new executive leadership and increased its focus on innovation and AI-enabled solutions.
“Over the past 12 to 18 months, we have transformed immensely,” Gayler said. “Even with decades of experience, we are running and operating like a startup – there is tremendous energy throughout the company as we move into the AI era and aim to accelerate our customers’ AI success.”
Beyond the company’s own growth, Gayler said he’s encouraged by the broader momentum building across Central Ohio’s technology sector.
And he believes that growth will continue to benefit the region’s workforce for years to come.
“What’s really exciting about it is the number of talented individuals that are here now – or that we’re attracting here,” Gayler said. “That will only help continue to educate the next workforce, and will certainly help all the children in our schools think big about their career paths. It’s an exciting time to be here, and in some ways we’re just getting started.”
