Dublin Economic Development Administrators Kyle Kridler and Rachel Ray are part of a delegation working with the Kenyan-Columbus Business Development Program. This two-week Columbus International Program will provide a high-quality, customized group experience that presents an overview of American business practices that can be incorporated in Kenya.
The delegation will meet with leaders from state and local agencies that support business development, colleges and universities that teach business skills and many non-government organizations that implement programs throughout our region that help to build and support businesses. The delegation will use the insights they gain from this program to improve the functioning of small businesses and financial cooperatives in Kenya.
The Dublin team met with Kenyan college students Rosebell Wachaga and Gillian Mbugua who are studying commerce and entrepreneurship.
